The May bank holiday weekend saw the UK’s strongest man come to Milton Keynes Dons with Fierce gym sponsoring the 3 day event.
Fierce had a few challenges for those attending the event which included a Farmers hold and a hammer hold.
The challenge being to see who could hold on for the longest, the farmers tested grip strength and we had 3 different weights to choose from; 22kg a hand, 42kg a hand, and 62kg a hand, the hammer hold had 2 weight options 15kg or 25kg and a 2kg Dumbbell for the kids to try.
100’s of men, women and children took part in these challenges over the long weekend and it was great for the Fierce Team to have a day out doing something different at one of the first large scale events since covid restrictions were lifted.
We also supported Professional strongwoman competitor Lucy Underdown in pulling a record 300kg deadlift.
Gavin “The Bull” Gibson won the title of UK’s strongest man and had been at Fierce the week before the competition, lifting our Famous Fierce deadlift car.
Fierce are looking forward to supporting UK’s strongest man when it returns to Milton Keynes in 2022.
