For the second year running Fierce Gym was an official sponsor of the UK’s Strongest man 3 day event that was held at Stadium MK.
Fierce were there for the full 3 days challenging people to have a go at our Thors hammer or our Farmers hold competition.
The challenge saw almost 500 people sign up to give it a go, all after the prize of a 20kg Atlas stone signed by all the athletes.
With 2 Atlas stones up for grabs one for the men and one for the ladies over the 3 days people fiercely battled with grip, strength and their will to hold onto the handles for as long as possible.
The men were challenged with holding 92kg a hand and the ladies 42kg a hand.
The Ultimate winners were for the men Paddy Haynes a regular at Fierce Gym with a time of 2 mins and for the ladies Fierce Gym member Nikki McSweeney with a time of 3 mins 3 secs.
The crowds and buzz around these events were amazing!
Fierce was also the sponsor of the final brutal event, the flag hoist which determined the podium placing between 2nd and 3rd.
Over the event we had some of the supporting athletes and refs come to Fierce to train including Terry Hollands and the GOAT Strongman Zydrunas Savickas “Big Z”
